This is Yasaka Shrine in the Gion district of Kyoto.

今年も初詣の参拝者でいっぱいでしたよ。
This year, as always, the shrine was filled with Hatsumo-de visitors – people making their customary first visit of the year to a shrine/temple.

下のお写真は絵馬。
絵馬（えま）は、神社や寺院に祈願するとき、あるいは祈願した願いが叶ってその謝礼をするときに寺社に奉納する、絵が描かれた木の板です。
