祇園にある割烹料理屋さんです。
と書くととっても敷居が高い様に思いますが、こちらは味は本物、でも気軽に楽しめる価格設定で、大人っていいな、京都っていいなと思える料理屋さんです。
また地酒も取り揃えてあり、お酒の種類も豊富。メニューの数もかなり多いです。
場所がとってもわかりにくいのですが、まさに隠れ家といった感じで通いたくなるお店です。

When we hear kappou, we usually read ‘pricy’. Kawabata is a wonderful exception in that the food is the real thing, yet its price range is not too extravagant. The restaurant serves an enjoyable medley of Kyoto flavors that are appreciated in a mature atmosphere.
They also stock a wide range of local sakes to go with the great selection of dishes.
The restaurant is very difficult to find, but is somewhere you’d want to keep coming back to.
