東山区八坂の塔近くにある、The SODOHさんに行ってまいりました。
Went to check out the SODOH, located near the five tiered pagoda landmark of the Higashiyama district.

この辺りは清水寺やそこに続く路地が京都らしく、沢山の観光客の方がいらっしゃる場所ですが、こちらのレストランはその門構えからか、中々入って来られる方は少ない様です。
ですが意外とリーズナブルなお値段でとても重厚な建物の中でイタリアンが頂けます。
This whole area, as well as the narrow paths that lead out toward Kiyomizu temple are very distinctly Kyoto and are naturally popular with tourists. Yet the SODOH remains a serene and quiet spot despite the crowds walking by. Its entrance way may feel imposing to first-timers, but in actuality, the restaurant is a great place to enjoy classy Italian cuisine for a reasonable price.

また併設されているCafeもあり、こちらは観光の合間に一休みされるのにはとてもいいのではないでしょうか？
